The assessment of security vulnerability occurs in many facilities today that never had to deal with the issues of plant security,  facilities security, IT security, medical security, or process security in the past.  This demand for increased security, has introduced new security furniture and security console requirements for many of our traditional customers from a wide variety of industries. We frequently receive inquiries for security furniture in numerous Homeland Security applications; from military security installations, dams-bridges-harbor-rail-cargo-port authorities for infrastructure security and maritime security

And, now we've seen the need arise for additional security furniture; even in municipal water treatment facilities, refineries, chemical plants, and more recently in hospitals and class-A high-rise commercial buildings as well.

These customers were all searching, usually via the internet, for a reputable supplier of robust, all-steel, security control room furniture. Our SecureVIEW ® product line was launched in early 2005 specifically to address these rapidly expanding needs.



The project illustrated in the picture above is a portion of the security furniture installation we completed in early 2005, at the Texas Governor's Mansion in Austin, TX. Our scope of work included 48in LoPro security consoles with supports for large, touch-screen plasma displays with task lighting, EIA Equipment Garages (to sit under plasma displays for mounting various security equipment, camera multiplexers and switches), 72in long double-sided worktable with pencil drawers on each side, a number of 2 and 3 drawer high file drawer credenzas (with matching laminate inlays), printer desk and single-operator security workstations. In addition to our SecureVIEW ® security systems monitoring furniture, we provided on-site move in and set up services for this project.

A month after our installation was completed, we called the customer to get his feedback on the new equipment. Here's what he had to say:
